The building features a monumental façade marked by reinforced concrete pilasters and a large chiselled bronze portal bearing the provincial coat of arms. Inside, a spacious double-height atrium is surrounded by three levels of offices and a Council Hall adorned with walnut wood panelling and a Murano glass chandelier. The original furnishings, including the reclining chairs of the councillors, were restored in 2005, while the inner courtyard now hosts a collection of native plants from the surrounding hills, part of a bio-architecture project combining functionality and sustainability.
