Continuing north, on the left you can spot Lake Soprano with its nature reserve. At the crossroads, turn left onto the SP46 (Serradifalco–Rabbione), then turn right after about 1.5 km, taking the SP37 (Serradifalco–Bosco Mine). Stay on this provincial road for about 2.5 km and then continue on the SP38 (San Cataldo–Mussomeli), weaving along the boundary between the municipalities of Serradifalco and San Cataldo, parallel to the Stincone stream. In the valley, the landscape becomes increasingly barren and wild, opening toward the Salito River. After about 6 km, turn left toward Torretta–Montedoro on the SP41 (Montedoro–Raineri). Continue surrounded by spectacular grasslands for about 8 km, passing two farmhouses, until reaching a crossroads with a shrine, then turn left toward Caltanissetta.
You are now back on the SP46, which you leave after less than 2 km by turning right near an abandoned house, entering the wilder section of the route. Keeping always to the right, you circle Monte Rabione and descend into the valley until reaching a crossing over the Gallo d’Oro River. At this point, continue until you reach the SP41 and turn immediately left before the olive grove, onto a dirt road (which at first looks like a paved lot). From here, you re-enter the municipality of Serradifalco and reach another crossing of the Gallo d’Oro River. After the Agliastretto district, turn left until you intercept the SP101, cross it, and continue east along Via Palmeri to return to your starting point.
