Set up in a former municipal depot refurbished according to green-building principles, the space features touchscreens displaying tactile maps and 3D reconstructions of previously unseen archaeological and industrial areas. Backlit panels retrace the history of the sulfur mines and railway infrastructure, showing period photos of gatehouses, warehouses, and furnaces, accompanied by short augmented-reality videos that bring back the movement of goods and people. A thematic library gathers essays, guidebooks, and local publications, while a corner dedicated to experiential tourism offers craft workshops in ceramics and weaving, tastings of typical products, and food-and-wine routes. The InfoPoint also functions as a bike-sharing hub and a rental point for e-bikes and mountain bikes, with GPS-suggested itineraries along the nature trails of the Salso and the geosites of Terrapelata and Monte Capodarso.
