You can reach Petra by following Viale Belvedere all the way to the end. It is one of the most beautiful panoramic spots in Delia, offering a full 360° view. Looking from west to north, counterclockwise, you can see part of Canicattì, the castle of Delia with Naro and its castle in the background, the sea of Licata, Campobello di Licata, Ravanusa, Riesi, Sommatino, Monte Formaggio, and on clear days, Mount Etna and, to the north, the Sicani mountains.
The place is enhanced by a panoramic viewpoint equipped with benches and litter bins, and nearby stands the small and ancient 18th-century church of Monserrato. On the opposite side of the road rises the early 20th-century water cistern, which for the first time brought drinking water to the homes of Delia, originally from the nearby Fontana Bianca spring and now from local wells and the Fanaco reservoir, which still supplies the town with its piezometric tower.
