Seven meters high and twelve meters long, this installation stands on a gentle slope overlooking the valley of the Southern Imera, offering an ideal balcony to admire the landscapes of inland Sicily.
Built with larch wood and corten steel, the bench is part of the Big Bench Community Project and invites visitors to experience a change of perspective: sitting on its enormous planks, one feels small before the immensity of the landscape, from the geometry of cultivated fields to the silhouettes of the Madonie mountains in the background.
A marked three-kilometer trail connects the Bench to the historic center, passing through oak groves, ancient haystacks, and educational areas dedicated to spontaneous botany.
