Among the most original and evocative initiatives of Sicilian Christmas, “Santa Claus on Motorcycles” returns once again this year. Organized by Moto Club San Cataldo 22, the event transforms the streets of central Sicily into a lively festive parade for an entire weekend.
The 2025 edition will take place on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14, offering visitors and residents two days dedicated to discovering the territory, sharing moments together, and experiencing the magic of the holidays.
The program will kick off on Saturday with the traditional motorcycle ride crossing three symbolic stops in the area: San Cataldo, Serradifalco, and Caltanissetta. A unique opportunity to admire the landscapes of the Sicilian hinterland in a joyful atmosphere, enlivened by motorcyclists dressed as Santa Claus and many onlookers along the route.
Upon returning, starting at 8:30 PM, the Salesian Oratory of San Cataldo, together with the Don Bosco Neighborhood Committee, will welcome participants, families, and tourists for an evening celebrating gastronomic tradition.
Guests will enjoy a free tasting of typical seasonal specialties: cuccìa, chickpeas, sfinge, and hot drinks—perfect for fully immersing themselves in the local Christmas spirit.
